Bio:
Cory Martin was born on the mystical land of Waiheke Island.
Cory was hyper intelligent as a child and was speaking fluent English at the age of 4 and a half months. Cory started his acting career at the age of 2 when Cory’s fluency in English and body movement convinced them that acting was the best path for Cory’s talents.
Cory’s parents flew Cory to England to train under the tutorage of Alan Rickman and Peter Ustinov.
Cory returned to New Zealand when he was 6 and began school. This was the biggest mistake Cory’s parents could have possibly made. Cory’s parents didn’t realise that the school's teachings were not suited to Cory’s vast mental capacity and in turn nulled Cory’s intelligence.
Cory was rushed to hospital when he suddenly one night lost all movement in his arms and legs. While in hospital Cory underwent many tests in hope to explain why he lost the movement. Scientists now think that it was because his brain reacted violently it was apparently “upset” because it wanted to retrieve its former power, and shutdown Cory’s system.
Though Cory did recover he sustained much mental scarring lowering his IQ to 120 an all time low for Cory and how he remains today.
At the age of 7 Cory played the firefly “Sam” in Buggy Wonderland, this was a role that Cory had always wanted to play, because, he had been told the story before when he met the Dalai Lama. He was very exited to get the role and played it very well.
Cory had a slight issue though after playing “Sam”. In the audience of one of the shows was a member of the Russian Mafia who had an idea of how to use Cory’s superior acting skills to extort large sums of money off wealthy American congressmen who were passing through on business trips to Russia. Cory was kidnapped but the mafia boss was luckily stopped at the border by NZ police.
Cory was emotionally damaged by this ordeal but continued to act.
At the age of 12 Cory teamed up with a rag-tag bunch of fellow thespians to put on the stunning play Jack and the Genetically Modified Beanstalk, the story of a Waiheke Island overgrown marijuana plant and Jacks struggle to keep the secret about how he was earning so much dosh. Cory didn’t have the lead in this play he played Jack's sidekick, a hyper intelligent pig.
Cory has continued to play with Rogues and Vagabonds; he is now 16 years of age and has never regained his former intelligence and acting skills. But he is one hell of an actor.
Cory is also very susceptible to be type cast as various animals. |
